What I hope to accomplish with this is to get the senior Newberns talking about the family history. I know that one of the "boys" did a very detailed family tree, and I think that Jay is now in charge of it. This might be the perfect place to let everyone know some of the details.

I think this picture was taken in 1939 or 40--at least that's what I think I was told. What if anything do you remember about the day it was taken?
